Six rescued after coal mine collapse in Quảng Ninh

QUẢNG NINH — Rescuers have saved six workers who were stranded in a coal mine after a collapse early on Tuesday morning. 

The mine was in Tây Bắc Ngã Hai Coal Mine, Dương Huy Co妹妹une, the north-eastern province of Quảng Ninh.

The rescue team worked for  一 五 hours, between  三am to  六pm on Tuesday, to save the miners.

After being pulled out, three workers were in a stable condition, while three others were injured. The injured miners were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Local officials in Quảng Ninh Province went to the scene to direct the rescue forces.

According to initial investigations, the miners work for Company  三 五, belonging to the Đông Bắc Corporation, under the Ministry of National Defence.

The ministry is investigating the cause of the accident. — VNS
